Biography

         Dr. Chalisa specializes in molecular genetics and population genetics. She completed her doctoral research training at the Institute Pasteur in Paris, France. Her research focuses on G6PD deficiency. She has a notable publication record in SCIENCE journal, highlighting her work on hereditary red blood cell enzymopathies and their role in preventing malaria infection.
